The Reverend Deborah Ambridge Fisher completed her MDiv at Emmanuel College in Toronto and has been an ordained minister in the United Church of Canada since May 27, 2017. She came with her husband John and their daughter Emilia to Forest Hill United Church in January of 2018 and they know it was the best thing that ever happened to them! Rev. Deborah’s hobbies include gardening, sewing (badly but she is working on it), reading and watching Sci-Fi and mystery shows. If you have an interest in Doctor Who then you have found a soul mate at FHUC. She believes her life is best when committed to God and spends time daily in prayer and with Scripture. Her favourite book in the Bible is the Book of Ruth and she feels most connected to the apostle Peter. They are both goofballs and Jesus loves them anyway.
